I just watched this, like a bazillion times. It’s kind of mesmerizing. This song might be making a cameo appearance on the site soon!

I met up with Lizzie and Jesse last Saturday at Lichgate to hang out with them and their two boys. Lizzie and Jesse are getting married end of February, and I can tell you, I think this is going to be one of my favorite weddings to date. Lizzie is planning a beautiful vintage wedding, and from what I know of the details, I know I am going to be in HEAVEN! (As you know, I hold a very special place in my heart for vintage, as my wedding had kind of a vintage feel to it!
)
Onto the images!
First up, probably one of my favorite family portraits of all time. I must have been saying something HILARIOUS.

Thier youngest son Xavier (Xay for short) is the cutest thing EVER! Are you kidding me with those eyes?

Jay loves to climb trees! Seriously, he is like a monkey. I was SO nervous how high up he was! Lizzie and Jesse just shrugged, “he’s been climbing trees since he could walk.” AHH!

One of the few minutes I could catch Jay NOT moving full speed!

And now for the happy couple. ![]()

FAVORITE! This one is the new first image on my website!

Ok, maybe this one is a favorite… too… ![]()

I found out that Jesse is like a master at Kung Fu, so naturally, we had to show that somehow. The God in me salutes the God in you- ‘Namaste’

Seriously, I adore these two. Lizzie wrote me a sweet email the other day and said that Jesse was a little nervous before, but that I totally converted him!
Thanks so much you guys, I cannot WAIT until your wedding!

Yay!!!!!! I am just so so so so excited. ![]()
The wonderful girls over at Southern Weddings contacted me about featuring Danielle and Stuart’s beautiful wedding on their blog as a Real Wedding Feature! Stay tuned for that because i’ll definitely post it here when it’s up.
Meanwhile, here is a little image from the very first issue of Southern Weddings Magazine which hit newsstands this month!
Thanks Lara and all the wonderful girls over at Southern Weddings!
PS- i’ll give any bride and groom of mine $100 to get one of these sweet rides for their wedding! ![]()

I’m still working on finishing up Lizzie and Jesse’s engagement session, and this one jumped out at me.
After I took this, I looked at it on the back of the camera and squealed “i’m in LOVE!”

Here’s a sneak peek of Danielle and Stuart’s New Year’s Day wedding at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, Florida.
The crew of Style Network’s “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?” was there to capture it all for your viewing pleasure, sometime this March or April. More coming on this GORGEOUS wedding this week!

I hope you have a blessed Christmas filled with joy and hope for the New Year.
Love from our home to yours,
Lauren

Last Saturday, my cousins Rachel, Hayley, and I gathered over at my Aunt Deedee’s and Uncle Steve’s house to carry on an old family tradition.
Every year, at Christmastime, my aunt Lori and my grandmother Momo would make hundred of cookies and send them out to all of our family. Since they lived in California, and we live on the East coast, even though we couldn’t always be together on Christmas, I always looked forward to those cookies arriving every year.
My Momo passed away the Monday before my wedding. I was filled with such sorrow that I didn’t know if I was going to make it through.
Rachel called me shortly after we returned from our honeymoon with a brilliant idea. She said, “let’s continue in Momo’s footsteps and make the cookies ourselves.” So we did.
It took us all day long, but I think Momo would be so proud of us.
I documented our first time making these cookies, in what is sure to become a new holiday tradition for our family.
Angie Ted’s wedding was back in November, but I am just now getting a chance to blog it!
Angela and Ted got married in New Smyrna Beach on November 15. I was fortunate to work with some amazing vendors, including Jenna Jones and Jen Calnan of Celebrate! event coordination. If you are looking for someone to plan your wedding, look these girls up! They are AMAZING!
Thank you Angie and Ted for letting me be part of your day! Here are some of the images:

Angie and her bridesmaids got ready at the Coconut Palms Resort in New Smyrna, it was such a beautiful hotel!
I had to take some pictures of the dress in the lobby. Yep, I was getting all kinds of crazy looks. ![]()

Beautiful bride!

Ceremony was held on the beach at Smyrna Dunes Park. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather right up until the end of the ceremony.

I’m sorry you’re so darn handsome Ted.

And the amazing reception details! Angie and Jenna and Jen had put together a beautiful Tiffany blue and white reception. I’m such a sucker for details!

Thanks again to Jenna and Jen, and go check out their blog, they have great tips for brides on style and vendors. I made their featured vendor list!
