Baby Evie!

Remember Blake and Kiley? They had their baby!!! Evelyn Grace was born on 7-31, and I was so blessed to be able to photograph Evie at only a few days old. She was so tiny, I just wanted to hold her and love her more than take a bunch of pictures, but then again, I do love taking pictures. :) Here are some of my favorites from Evie’s baby session.

Peek-a-boo!

Such a little diva :D

She’s a daddy’s girl already. Blake- you are so WRAPPED around her little finger. :)

I loved Evie’s room! Kiley had it decorated in yellow with duckies everywhere! I was a bit sad because it was nasty weather outside when we were taking these shots, so I had to work with flash.

Such a sweet little family.

You have to have the naked baby shot!

Kiley, you’re such a natural mommy. :)

I had to post this last one because baby Evie has a very watchful sibling. :D

Love you guys very much, Evie has been blessed with some wonderful parents. I can’t wait to see her grow up!

Megan + Barry - married!

Megan and Barry got married at the First Baptist Church in downtown Jacksonville, and my friend Kylene asked me to go along and shoot this fabulous wedding with her! Of course I agreed, and I am so happy I did. Megan and Barry are the sweetest, most endearing couple I have ever met. I hope you two had a great time on your honeymoon, and I wish you the best in your life together.
Flowers: Flowers By Pat- Jacksonville
Cake: Edgewood Bakery

I can’t resist the bling :)

Megan’s three sisters were bridesmaids in the wedding and I just love this shot of them looking on after getting into her dress.

Afterwards, the girls headed out for some formal portraits, and I headed up to the balcony to begin test lighting. I caught this image of Barry, who was totally oblivious to everything happening around him! LOL!

Some of my shots of Megan. Megan, you’re gorgeous.

Megan and Barry chose to see each other before the ceremony- which makes me so happy! I snapped this one right before the walk down the aisle.

Here comes the bride.

Love this one! 70-200 is a glorious lens. :)

Introducing!!!

Yummy.

Ok so another ring shot. Megan and Barry had a fabulous candy bar, and I saw these Skittles with their initial on them! :D

What happens when i’m given 20 minutes with a bride and groom before they head out to their honeymoon? I make magic happen- that’s what!

Megan and Barry, you were a joy to work with! LOVE you guys! And thanks to Jen, our fabulous assistant for the day! Love ya Jen! :D

Susan + Andrew - Engaged!

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Susan and Andrew in Jacksonville a couple weeks ago. Susan and Andrew are getting married on November 8 of this year, and I am so stoked to be photographing their wedding. This wedding was referred to me by my good friend Kylene. While we were walking around downtown Jacksonville, Susan was telling me some of the fun details about their wedding and I just can’t wait! Fall is my favorite time of year and Susan and Andrew are going to have a beautiful fall wedding!
Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session!
Susan told me about this little bookstore that she and Andrew frequent. If you ever get a chance to go to Jacksonville, I highly recommend stopping by this book lovers paradise- Chamblin Bookmine.

After we left the bookstore, we ventured out around town and found some really cool murals, which of course, I had to get some pictures of!

love!

Thank you Susan and Andrew for being so much fun to hang out with! See you in November! :D

Guilt is a powerful thing!

I feel SO guilty for not updating all my readers out there in blogger land! I was just talking to a good friend of mine and fellow photographer, David, and I realized that I have not posted on the blog in almost a week! :( I am so far behind on blogging, and for that I ask all of you to forgive me for not doing that, this surprise that I have coming has set me back a little with some unexpected things. So be patient, I promise it IS coming SOON! :D In the meantime, I am going to do my best to post:

A FABULOUS engagement session with Susan + Andrew!

Megan + Barry’s gorgeous wedding (shot with my friend Kylene! :) )

I will be out of town this weekend (planning my own wedding, did I ever mention I am getting MARRIED in less than 2 months?!?!?! :) ) so between all that, I am totally swamped! But I love love love all you guys! Bear with me a little longer!!

Here is the final product! Click the image to enlarge it. They are going to be so neat- little refrigerator magnets!

Call me or email me for more information on these, I would love to design some for your wedding or next event!

Hey everyone!

I am officially out of the office until Monday- I am headed off to shoot an incredible wedding with my good buddy Kylene and a hot engagement session around downtown Jacksonville. See you on Monday, I hope you have a fabulous summer weekend :D

Susan + Andrew - Esession

Sneek peeks from the wedding in Jacksonville!

A possible hint/another sneek peek for the “What’s in the Works” post below.

Hasta luego!

Robin + Titus

I had the privilege of hanging out with Robin and Titus last Saturday. They are both really cool people! Robin is absolutely GORGEOUS and Titus is hysterical! I don’t think we stopped laughing almost all day while shooting their engagement session. We went all over Tallahassee in search of the perfect locations. We started out at FSU, which is very important to both of them, since Robin works in the Sports office and Titus is in charge of taking care of the baseball field! How cool is that???

They are absolutely head over heels for each other. This is the way they looked all day: :)

I told them I was slightly obessed with this shot while I was checking out the camera!

I had TOO MANY favorites so here they are (in no particular order!) :D

Robin… you’re beautiful!

Are you KIDDING ME with that ridiculous sunflare??? YUM!!
I totally lied. This is my favorite!

Ok guys- don’t kill me! I thought this was so funny I had to post…
Ladies and gentlemen- I give you… Blue Steel!

I had a great time Robin and Titus and i’m looking forward to your wedding! :)

What’s in the works

Here is a hint at all the cool stuff happening. Bet you all will never guess what this means. :D But you will certainly try…. :)

Kylene l Trash the dress!

Helloooo faithful blog readers! I have missed you terribly. I am so sorry I haven’t posted in what seems like light years. Totally abnormal for me. You would not BELIEVE how busy the past few weeks… well ok, months… have been for me! It is absolutely crazy! But in a good way :)
Anyways, my good friend Kylene of Forever Photography and I ventured out to my friend Lori’s farm for a Trash the Dress session a few weeks ago! Lori has a gorgeous farm and horses that are so beautiful. I was thrilled when Kylene said she wanted to get back into her wedding dress for some down on the farm fun :)
WARNING! This post has tons- and I mean TONS- of photos. I seriously had so many favorites, plus I will be doing a slideshow soon, but for now you’ll just have to settle for this yummy goodness coming your way!
We had a great time, and of course, Kylene is so beautiful, there was no way every.SINGLE.shot was going to not be breathtaking.

Yes. She really is that stunning.

HELLO GORGEOUS!!! AYKM [are you kidding me???!!] favorite!!!

I love my job. :)

Buck [Lori's horse] loved the dress. Almost as much as I did.
